I was compelled to fire this comment off...You visited our school twice several years back(lost on the mists of time!).All of us , students and teachers alike were spellbound.Your work has become a staple of our afternoon Naptime.Yes of course the children love the stories, but as a fifty year old(male) preschool teacher I am often moved to tears when I hear Vassylisa singing to her father. Well, my fiance and I just finished listening to the story and she was similarly moved. Is it an amalgam of the music, your rich voice and the deeply rooted archetypal elements in the story...redemption, good fortune after poverty, her courage-her wit---your wit...that moves us so? I just had to acknowledge your incredible bardic skill and the rich and beautiful fabric you weave. I thank you for myself and for the children for whom you open the gateway to the magical realm of myth where our dreams are born and hope lives beyond despair-Blessings!
