Few storytellers take on middle and high school audiences for obvious reasons:
teenagers know mass media and hold strong opinions about what they like and don’t like. Once they decide they’re bored, bedlam ensues.
During Odds Bodkin performances, however, no bedlam ensues. Hundreds of mixed-age teenagers sit still and quiet, subdued and completely entertained—often for a solid hour or more--by the power of his art.
How does Odds accomplish this so consistently?
